interesting article.
the so called "globalization" of terror did not exist before the clever use of the phrase "war on terrrorism" by Bush after 9/11. Before that there were just 'criminal' acts.
He was cunning enough to play with the sympathy of the people to start a fight against a word - terrorism.
Moore was right to point that out.
Having realised that his war on symantics has caused more trouble, his administration has replaced the phrase" global war on terror" with "global struggle against violent extremism".
hmm. "extremism" - i see long beards all over.
